Teaching

Science can seem intimidating for both science majors and non-majors alike. I hope through my courses that I can show my students how approachable and diverse the scientific world and its opportunities are. My overall goal is to inspire students to lead their own learning experience with curiosity, collaboration, and compassion. Many of the topics I teach will be novel to students, so I believe that going beyond the scientific content to discuss their historical significance, current context, and potential relevance to their own lives is of utmost importance.
